Hilton have just announced their latest promotion for Honors members which will run this autumn. You can register now to earn points through September to January.

The good news is that the majority of us in the UK will get the double points we’ve been accustomed to the last few months and if you managed to bag yourself a Hilton Barclaycard before they closed it to new members then you could get triple.

The first course of action is to head over to the promotion page:

https://hiltonhonors.com/PowerUp

Once you’re registered every stay from the 3rd September, even if booked previously, will earn double points. If you use your UK Hilton Barclaycard then you will earn triple points, or if you are outside of the UK then any of these cards will also qualify for triple points:

  • DKB (Germany)
  • Hilton Honors American Express Card (US)
  • Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card (US)
  • Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (US)
  • Hilton Honors American Express Business Card (US)
  • Hilton Honors Visa Classic Sumitomo Card (Asia)
  • Hilton Honors Visa Gold Sumitomo Card (Asia)
  • Hilton Honors Visa Platinum Sumitomo Card (Asia)

Ensure you register on the website, and get earning those double points (in addition to any other promotions we list on THH). Here is the small print for those that revel in such wording:

Offer valid for stays completed September 9, 2019, through January 5, 2020 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/PowerUp prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period. You must check out on or prior to January 5, 2020 to be eligible for this offer. Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before September 9, 2019 will receive credit for their stay if the stay is completed on or after September 9, 2019 and prior to or on January 5, 2020. Registered Hilton Honors members will earn Double Hilton Honors Bonus Points per stay during the Promotion Period or Triple Hilton Honors Bonus Points per stay during the Promotion Period for using a Hilton Honors Credit Card. “Double Points” means you will receive a bonus equal to the number of Base Points earned during a stay. “Triple Points” means for each dollar spent using your Hilton Honors Credit Card on stays at a property within the Hilton portfolio during the Promotion Period, you will receive a bonus equal to twice the number of Base Points earned during a stay. Hilton Honors Credit Cards include: Hilton Honors American Express Card, Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card, Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, Hilton Honors American Express Business Card, Hilton Honors Visa Classic Sumitomo Card, Hilton Honors Visa Gold Sumitomo Card, Hilton Honors Visa Platinum Sumitomo Card, Barclaycard Hilton Honors credit card and DKB German. For examples and further details, please see the FAQ page. There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the amount of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.

This offer may be terminated without notice. Bonus Points do not count toward elite tier qualification. Please allow six to eight weeks from completion of your stay for Bonus Points to appear in your Hilton Honors account. A ‘stay’ is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. Offer is not valid for groups and cannot be combined with other select offers. In-Room Internet Access, Fitness Center/Health Club Access and Bottled Water benefits may not be complimentary at properties with a resort charge. Space-available upgrades only available at select brands. Elite status benefits are subject to availability and vary by brand. For more information, please visit HiltonHonors.com.
